Sho Madjozi signs to international record label, Epic Records.
Wow! Sho wasn’t playing when she said she’s become a threat to many in the music industry. Indeed, she’s no longer just any girl, she’s got bragging rights yo.
The talented female star has been on a steady incline for so long and we can’t but cheer as she makes her way up. On Tuesday 30 June, the “John Cena” hit maker announced that she has signed to Epic Records making her the only South African act in North America. Cool right?
Well, she isn’t the only one excited about it. The label’s chairman and C.E.O, Sylvia Rhone called her “bold, brilliant and remarkably talented” and said “her music embodies all that is special about her homeland”. She revealed that the label welcomes her as it’s newest member.
Sony Music Entertainment Africa also revealed that they would be support Epic with Madjozi. According to Sean Watson, M.D.,
“We’re working at a special company at a special time and we couldn’t be prouder than we are of our local star Sho and our big sister Sylvia for partnering to make this happen,”
