She may not have been very active in the music industry of recent, but South African rapper, author and poet Sho Madjozi has been pretty busy in other areas. It has just been revealed that she will be presenting her book “ShoMa & the Stars” at the Folklore Festival.
It is the culmination of a writing adventure that began a while back. The writing of the book itself was a surprise to many of her fans, who had no clue she was into children’s literature and was going to drop something in the field.
Anyway, the reception for the book was pretty impressive, indicating to the author that she made the right decision to pen down her thoughts for the benefit of young readers.
In a post on its official Instagram page, Folklore Festival mentioned Sho Madjozi among the musicians and authors expected at the festival. The announcement of Sho Madjozi as a part of the festival provoked excitement among her fans, most of whom noted they couldn’t wait to see her there. You can check out the post below.
The Folklore Festival will take place on 16 September at the National School of the Arts in Braampark, Johannesburg. Tickets for the vent are already out.
