This remarkable achievement showcases the telenovela’s ability to captivate audiences, drawing in a staggering 790,756 viewers and surpassing the previously popular “My Brother’s Keeper,” which now holds the fifth position with 763,825 viewers.

Produced by Rhythm World Productions, known for their successful ventures like “Umkhokha: The Curse” and “My Brother’s Keeper,” “Sibongile and The Dlaminis” features a stellar cast including Ayanda Borotho, Siyabonga Shibe, Luyanda Zwane, and Vuyo Biyela from “The River.” The telenovela made its debut on July 31, 2023, on DStv channel 163 and has since become a household name.
