Famous Mzansi actor Sicelo Buthelezi, best known for playing “Teddy” in the hit soapie, “Gomora,” has bid farewell to his character after the show aired its last episode. He also shared memorable scenes from the show.
Fans of Mzansi Magic’s popular telenovela, Gomora, were left feeling emotional when the show ended after four successful seasons. The final episode of the series aired on 20 October, and everyone could not stop talking about how much they loved it and would miss it on social media.
Sicelo Buthelezi, who plays Teddy on the show, also had everyone’s emotions. Teddy was the son of Zodwa, a single mother who battled alcoholism and gave her son some tough love. Sicelo bade farewell to his character Teddy with an emotional post.
He wrote, “Thank you for everything TEDDY BEAR.”
He also shared a scene from the show in which Teddy’s mother, Zodwa, advises him to grow up and be a man instead of making other people suffer because he is stressed. Fans reacted to the post, praising him for playing the character so well.
