A lot is planned for today, Saturday, May 2020, including the Baseline Fest, which goes by the mantra, “In music we trust.” South African singer Simmy has just been added to the lineup for the event and her fans cannot keep calm.
The flyer released for the event showed that she would join other South African acts, including DBN Gogo and Sjava for a performance that is expected to begin by 2 pm South African time and last till late into the night. There is no definite time for when the event would end.
It is not exactly a gathering of local champs, however, as some international acts are expected for the show as well. Scuru Fitchadu, Planetoids, Fayazer, and other international acts are expected to perform as well. You can check out the flyer below.
Simmy is more than happy to be on the lineup for the show. She is one fine voice in the world of South African music, although her name rarely grabs headlines. It will be interesting to see what kind of performance she would put up alongside her compatriots.
