Simphiwe Dana Attacks Reality Show ‘Mnakwethu’ and the Host, Musa Mseleku

Simphiwe Dana took to her Twitter page to shade Mnakwethu and Musa Mseleku.

Award-winning South African singer, Simphiwe Dana, has taken to social media to express her disdain over ‘Mnakwethu,’ the Mzansi Magic’s reality show.

The talented singer has joined several fans who had expressed their distaste over Mnakwethu’s narrative that portrays women as objects for sale by the men who are on the show.

Simphiwe Dana remarked that the reality show humiliates women in an obvious way and the host, Musa Mseleku, was someone who loves humiliating women.

The award-winning singer blurted out her disdain for the show and did not mince her words as she also attacked Musa Mseleku.

Is Mnakwethu the African tradition hill y’all are willing to die on? I say y’all because it could never be me. Women being humiliated like this could never have my stamp of approval.  Can’t even believe that it’s being flighted. Surely we have rights as women.

Simphiwe stated that she was not against polygamy and understood the culture, but she was of the opinion that the reality show depicted greed.

The talented singer has defined polygamy in her own way, and she shared it.

Polygamy is only warranted for two reasons: 1. You are rich and have lots of land that needs to be oversee. 2. Your wife cannot bear your children. And in both instances your wife chooses your second wife, in cahoots with her mother-in-law.
