Mzansi singer, Simphiwe Dana comes for 999 boss, Arthur Mafokate over National Arts Council drama.
999 boss, Arthur Mafokate is currently receiving a lot of heat after his affiliated companies got over R10 million from the National Arts Council. Apparently, his artist, Choomee received over R2 million from the NAC.
After the news broke, Mzansi singer, Simphiwe Dana took to Twitter to call Mafokate out. She shared a photo of the paper showing the reports and added that Mafokate’s picture should have been on the paper and not Choomee’s. She claims that he is the mastermind behind the affiliated companies getting the huge payday from the NAC.
She later added “Allegedly” to the tweet. Her followers seemed to agree with her, taking to the comments section to state their displeasure. Earlier on, Chicco Twala slammed Arthur for applying to receive the Covid relief fund meant for struggling artists. Mafokate is yet to react to Simphiwe’s tweet.
