These are not the best of times for 999 Records boss, Arthur Mafokate. He appears embattled on every front, with the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on his trail for allegedly misusing funds belonging to the National Lottery Commission (NLC).
He is accused of using funds that should have gone for community engagement into purchasing choice properties for himself. Understandably, the property has been a centre of attention not just for investigators but the public as well.
While the kwaito musician has not shared images of the properties following the reopening of the investigation into his allegedly corrupt enrichment, he had already shared a video of one of the properties in 2020.
This was around the period when his daughter Kelello turned 16 years old. The video begins from outside right through the plush interiors and to the snazzy backyard, with its green, well-maintained grass.

Mafokate has consistently denied any form of wrongdoing or misappropriation of public funds. So it will be interesting to see what the outcome of the case against him will be, especially now that some of his assets have been frozen by the court.
