Netflix announces Sive Mabuya and Bohang Moeko as the lead cast for “How to Ruin Love: The Proposal.”
Sivenathi “Sive” Mabuya and Bohang Moeko have been announced by Netflix as the lead in the forthcoming “How to Ruin Love: The Proposal.” Mabuya will portray Zoleka, who believes her long-term boyfriend, Kagiso (Moeko) is cheating on her.
She then takes matters into her own hands as she’s desperate to find out if Kagiso is truly being unfaithful. Come May, fans of the Netflix franchise, “How To Ruin” will finally get to watch the film.
News24 reports that the franchise will return with its first-ever spin-off. The plot reads,
“Days before their three-year anniversary, on Valentine’s Day, forever pessimist and love cynic Zoleka believes her long-term boyfriend, Kagiso, is cheating on her. She decides to follow him, hoping to catch him in the act. However, things are not as they seem, and her suspicions lead to heartbreak. To mend her broken heart and relationship status, Zoleka enlists the help of their families to win her man back by any means necessary.”
“How To Ruin Love: The Proposal” will debut on the streamer on Friday, 31 May.
The spin-off is produced by Ramaphakela siblings Tshepo, Katleho, and Rethabile of Burnt Onion Productions. It features the cast, Marjorie Langa, John Morapama, Tina Jaxa, S’dumo Mtshali, Dumisani Mbele, and familiar faces, Thando Thabethe and Sandile Mahlangu. Noxolo Dlamini, Nefisa Mkhabela, Mapaseka Koetle and Thabo Malema also star in the series.
