Siya Kolisi Will Return To Rugby ‘Soon’

Rugby star Siya Kolisi has announced plans to return to the games soon after a successful hand surgery.

Injuries are often common for athletes. However, their fans always miss seeing them in action. Fans of Rugby star Siya Kolisi would be glad to see him back on the field soon after a successful surgery.

The Rugby World Cup winner reportedly suffered an injury while playing for Racing 92 against Bordeaux last Saturday. However, he pushed through to complete the full 80 minutes of the Top 14 clash. The Springboks captain took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, 5 March, and revealed that his operation went well and he will be returning to rugby.

He shared a photo and attached the caption,

“Operation went well! Will be back soon!” Kolisi posted on Instagram on Tuesday night.

According to SA Rugby Mag, “Springbok management will keep a close eye on Kolili’s fitness, but he is expected to recover in time for the home series against Ireland in July.”

The publication also reports that The Boks will hold an alignment camp between 5-6 March. However, the captain’s name was not listed in the 43-player group named to assemble in Cape Town. Check out the post he shared below.
