Siyabonga Nomvethe, former striker for the South African national team Bafana Bafana, has got a few words of advice for his compatriots and Kaizer Chiefs star, Siyathemba Sithebe.
Sithebe moved to the club last season after an impressive time at AmaZulu. In fact, it was his excellent performance at AmaZulu that informed the decision to sign him at Kaizer Chiefs. However, it appears he is not living up to expectations at Amakhosi.
Live upThis inability to live up to expectations in his new club provoked Siyabonga Nomvethe’s advice. According to Nomvethe, Sithebe should realize that the Chiefs are a big team and he should therefore put in more work to be in excellent form as he was in his previous club.
He used himself as an example, noting the point when he moved to Chiefs from African Wanderers. He noted that he knew from the beginning that he had to work harder than before, noting how big the club is, with fans in South Africa and the whole of Africa itself and how the fans only want the best for the club.
The question now is, will Siyathemab Sithebe take the advice from the former club member and do the needful? Time will tell.
