Sizokthola: Mzansi Calls For Protection Of Crew After Attack During Drug Raid In North West

The crew of the popular Moja Love show, Sizokthola, was attacked recently as they tried to track down a drug dealer in Rustenburg, North West.

Xolani Khumalo was on the ground with his crew for what would have been another drug bust, but he was spotted and chaos of sorts broke out.

According to reports. He was in a pub – potentially where some of the drugs are being sold to report things surreptitiously – when he was identified. The situation became tense and he attempted to escape, but some of his crew members were trapped and locked inside.

Other crew members who made it out before the locking of the pub smashed the lock and reportedly managed to free the other members.

The incident had many South Africans speaking about the role of the reality show in combating drugs in South Africa and how the view needs to be protected to continue doing its job.

Since its unveiling, Sizokthola has been a big hit with members of the public, with many commending it for its role in checking drug proliferation in South Africa. But then, as someone pointed out, the show could do with protection from South Africa’s security forces. Are they listening?
