‘Sizokthola’ Host Xolani Khumalo Takes To The Streets To Fight Drug Abuse

‘Sizokuthola’ Host Xolani Khumalo has reportedly posted bail of R20,000 after appearing at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

TV host Xolani Khumalo recently made the news after being implicated in the death of alleged drug dealer Robert “Kicks” Varrie. IOL reports this was “after he and his crew allegedly cornered and interrogated Varrie at his home in Katlehong.”

The news of his bail was announced by Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, who reported on X, “Xolani granted bail. Moja Love’s Sizokuthola host, Xolani Khumalo, has been granted R20 000 bail. Xolani Khumalo is charged with murder following the death of an alleged drug dealer, Robert ‘Kicks’ Varrie.”

Mphela added that the presenter had handed himself over to police at the Katlehong North Police Station on Tuesday.

Xolani’s foundation shared a statement confirming the news. The statement read

“We rely on law enforcement to act with equity and fairness… The Foundation having full confidence in Xolani’s innocence will allow the law to take its course.”

They also asked for support from fans, “We urge the community to support him in prayer and in solidarity continue to support the work of the Foundation. The Foundation will keep the public informed of all developments in this matter.”
