Sizwe Dhlomo Seemingly Shades Mpho Phalatse Over Rasta’s Painting Of Her

South African media personality and entrepreneur Sizwe Dhlomo has thrown a shade at his compatriot and politician Mpho Phalatse after she showed off a painting of her from the infamous artist Rasta.

Rasta is infamous throughout South Africa for the quality of his paintings which have often been derided as caricatures. Also, his paintings are usually of dead prominent figures. So what is exactly the message when he decided to paint former mayor Mpho, who is alive and well?

That was where Sizwe Dhlomo’s trolling comes in, with a world of meaning. As far as the Metro FM host is concerned, Rasta’s painting of Mpho actually signals the death of her political career.

Sizwe Dhlomo’s tweet divided South Africans along two lines, those who thought his response funny and laughed it off, and those who cautioned him to stop disrespecting Mpho.

It appeared he felt contrite along the line, because, the last time we checked, the tweet was no longer available, it had been deleted by him. But then, the message had already been passed, and people might continue to drag him over it.

The latest post follows his sporadic social media war with another notable South African, Vusi Thembikwayo
