Sjava beats Focalistic at the Red Bull Sound Clash 2023 »» Fakaza

Mzansi emcee Sjava has emerged as the winner at the Red Bull Sound Clash 2023 against Focalistic.

We love a good-natured battle between our favourite artists in the SA music industry. The Red Bull Sound Clash 2023 has offered that and more, where artists battle it out with performances of their music. Sjava recently faced Focalistic and emerged as the winner.

His win was announced on social media with the caption, “Team Sjava🔵 came, they nailed their performance and beat Team Focalistic🔴 ko Pitori. Congrats to @sjava_atm on taking the Red Bull SoundClash 2023 title,”

An excited fan was so impressed that he commented, “Sjava is a God 🤞🏾 and definitely the only Zulu man that matters.” Sjava has been one of the hardest-working artists this year. He has collaborated with prominent artists and also dominated the charts and airwaves with his music.

It was previously announced that he and Big Zulu had sent in their songs for Grammys consideration. Fans are hoping that clicks because they both deserve it. Recall that in March this year, the star revealed why he won’t work with A-Reece, saying,

“For me, if I didn’t know them, now I was gonna say they don’t want to work with me. But knowing them from the get-go and just seeing them come up and become what they are, they don’t change, and they need to change so that they can be available. If you get hold of him you will be like: ‘Oh, thank God he came and did this verse,’”

“Remember we were from a certain situation, so there was this and that. So now we have grown. When I’m talking about growth, I’m not even talking about years, but like in terms of like realising certain things in the industry. Now as we move forward, I believe that we still going to make like a lot of music together.”
