Sjava Clinches Role In New Drama Series

South African rapper Sjava has just cliched an acting role in a new drama series – further amplifying his versatility as an entertainer.

According to multiple reports, the songster will be part of a drama series dubbed “Isifiso,” which will also the likes of Melusi Yeni, Zinhle Mabena, Nelisa Mchunu, Duduzile Ngcobo, Bandile Maphalala, and Nkosinathi Kheswa.

Interestingly, Sjava himself hasn’t said anything about featuring on the drama series – not on his page and at the time of writing, anyway.

It wouldn’t be his first film appearance, however. The songster has made a couple of film appearances in the past previously and did well in them all. So, expectations are high that he would ace the new drama series as well.

With his imminent series of appearances, Sjava returns to the streets of South African musicians who have made forays into the world of acting. Another notable voice who’d ventured into acting is Nasty C. the songster is featured on an imminent flick on Netflix.

With how musos are leaping into the world of acting, we hope we don’t wake up one morning to find that the rappers have left their turf for the world of theatre.

Isifiso is set to premiere on July 4.
