Musician and blogger Siya Methane, who’s long famous by the stage name Slikour, has sued controversial music executive NOTA for defamation of character.
In one of his many controversial tweets, NOTA had claimed that Slikour had become depressed when his then-girlfriend Bonang cheated on him with Themba Nkosi, the musician who goes by the adopted stage name DJ Euphonik.
Provoked by the claim, Slikour had approached the courts seeking several reliefs from NOTA, including an apology, as well as withdrawing the statements he made about Slikour’s person. But it doesn’t end there. Slikour is also asking the court to award him damages in the sum of R250,000.
People who have been following NOTA’s public engagements will not be surprised by the music executive’s take on Slikour’s personal life. NOTA is already infamous for commenting on anything and everything concerning musicians and other celebs.
From AKA to Cassper Nyovest, NOTA has thrown shades at many in the industry. While some have elected to keep quiet, others, like Zoocci Coke Dope, have sternly warned him or else.
