“Fela in Versace” rapper AKA and his girlfriend Nadia Nakai have rubbished claims that they had an altercation at a strip club in Ghana and even broke up.
In the past few days, the blogosphere had rung with news that the couple had a tiff during their trip to Ghana. Those pushing this narrative had pointed to “evidence,” including AKA unfollowing Nadia on Instagram and saying in a now-deleted Instagram story that he’ll not let himself be disrespected by another woman ever again. They also pointed to the fact that Nadia Nakai had unfollowed the rapper as well.
Anyway, at the time of writing, both are back to following each other.
About the alleged tiff in Ghana, however, the lovers insisted that its nothing but a smear campaign against them. They insisted they never had an altercation during their trip to Ghana. Below is the joint statement they released about the alleged incident.
Nadia Nakai has been criticised over her relationship with AKA, with many of her critics insisting she should not have agreed to date him.
Her fans have been supporting her, though, insisting she should do whatever makes her happy. Well, she has been doing just that. Lol
