‘Smoke and Mirrors’ Has Replaced Zolisa Xaluva With Hlomla Dandala

eTV’s telenovela Smoke & Mirrors has announced Hlomla Dandala as the replacement for Zolisa Xaluva.

The news is now official that Zolisa Xaluva has left eTV’s Smoke & Mirrors. According to reports, the famous actor has been replaced by Hlomla Dandala, who will take on the role of Caesar, a ruthless businessman.

Entertainment reporter Phil Mphela had announced that Zolisa was fired from the show. He wrote, “Zolisa Xaluva fired from #etvSmokeAndMirrors. The prolific award-winning actor has been let go from the hit eTV telenovela, which is the 7th most-watched show in South Africa.”

However, Zolisa debunked the claims, saying his contract had not been renewed. He said that because the contract stated he was prohibited from working with other productions.

An insider at eTV told Zimoja that the company wondered him exclusively. They said, “Some may call it being fired, but his contract is not being renewed. The company wants him to only work for them and not on other productions, and he was questioning that clause in the contract.”

“He knows his value, which to some people may seem arrogant, but he is a gentleman, and he is not desperate. The company wouldn’t agree to some of his terms, and they parted ways, simple as that.”
