Twitter users congratulate “Podcast And Chill” co-host Sol Phenduka as he joins Kaya FM.
Indeed, it is a year for exciting moves, and some of our faves are doing it the right way. According to new reports, former Metro FM host Dineo Ranaka and “Podcast And Chill” co-host Sol Phenduka will be joining Kaya FM this month to kick off a new show set to debut on the station next month.
Social media users have taken to Twitter to congratulate Sol on the new move. “Congratulations Sol” has since dominated the trends. Kaya 959, managing director Sibongile Mtyali welcomed the duo to the station in a shared statement.
“We are proud to welcome Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka to our Kaya 959 family. Dineo is widely acknowledged for her mastery of the craft of radio.
“Her radio savvy, dynamic personality and life experience coupled with Sol’s sharp wit and broad knowledge are just the combinations Kaya 959 needs to make a mark with the code-switcher who is on a journey to advance themselves,”
Ranaka reportedly quit Metro FM to take up the new role. She thanked her fans and listeners for their support throughout the years. The new show will debut on July 1st. The announcement comes days after it was reported that Thomas Msengana and Skhumba Hlophe had been fired from the station.
