Somizi had revealed yet another side of himself during the latest episode of his reality show Living the Life With Somizi: That of a friend who would stop at nothing to see that his pal is happy and comfortable during a crisis.
The Idols South Africa judge spoke about helping his friend Khanyi Mbau During a difficult patch on New Year’s Day.
The songstress was to have hired a private jet to take her to Johannesburg, but it somehow didn’t work out. So she called Somgaga in tears, telling him about the problem.
Somizi swung into action immediately, telling her not to worry and that he’d take care of everything. And he did. He got her a ticket, and she made the trip as she wanted to.
Somizi and Khanyi Mbau’s friendship dates back years. Years ago, one social media user had complained that celebs, including Somizi, were the ones getting all the endorsements. Khanyi Mbau had countered that Somizi found a void and filled it. She’d also clarified that most celebs who turned out to be great successes fast, pray, and hustle like hell.
By the way, since its unveiling, Living the Dream With Somizi has elicited mixed reactions, with some critics saying it was started to shame his ex, Mohale Motaung.
