Somizi, Maleka, Maboe Or ProVerb? Mzansi Debates Who The Best Presenter In South Africa Is

A Twitter user recently ignited debate on the platform when he asked his audience who they thought was the best presenter in the country. He gave just four options: ProVerb, Katlego Maboe, Somizi and Lawrence Maleka.

All four have their strengths and weaknesses, of course, but who could be the best among them? It turned out that the responses were pretty mixed, but ultimately tweeps picked their favourites. While some insisted that Somizi was their man, some picked Katlego Maboe.

For others, Lawrence Maleka is the presenter to beat. And yet for others, ProVerb stands head and shoulder above the rest. To each his own, of course.

Indeed all four are pretty good as presenters. Somizi is the oldest of the bunch and also one of the most popular. He is one of the judges on the Idols SA reality show and also has other presenting gigs.

ProVerb is a celebrated rapper and also a presenter of the same Idols SA reality show. He is one of the respected voices in South African rap but rarely spits the bars these days.

Katlego Maboe is another notable presenter whose career was almost buried after his ex-wife accused him of gender-based violence.
