Mzansi TV personality and chef, Somizi Mhlongo has bagged a nomination at the World Cook Book Awards.
We have to raise our glasses to Somizi because he is always making Mzansi proud. If he isn’t dancing his way into our hearts, he’s talking his way around it. The Mzansi star gained so much praise following the successful release of his cookbook “I Am Not A Chef” by Som.
Now, he has just recorded a new milestone as the book has been nominated at the World Cook Book Awards, also called the Gourmand Awards. Somizi has since taken to social media to share his excitement and also thank his fans for all their support.
Som’s book is the only one chosen from South Africa. According to the event’s organizers, one book is chosen per country in each category. The Award show will hold in 2022 and will feature only the best Cookbook authors from around the world.
