Mzansi muso and Idols SA judge Somizi has slammed an eNCA reporter Lindsay Dentlinger for conduct that allegedly borders on racism.
Lindsay Dentlinger outraged many social media users when videos circulated online showing her interviewing white and black politicians. Social media users had noticed that she asked black politicians to put on their masks while interviewing them but interviewed white politicians without asking them to do the same.
Among those who had been outraged was Somizi.

By the way, Lindsay Dentlinger’s employer, eNCA, has alleged met with the reporter. Thereafter the organization had issued a statement in which it described Lindsay Dentlinger as a seasoneed reporter with over 21 years experience.
The eNCA also claims the reporter’s decision was not racially motivated. This explanation did not mollify angry social media users, though, including Somizi.
The Idols SA judged had take to Instagram thereafter to share his displeasure with Lindsay Dentlinger’s action as well as the statement the eNCA issued following the backlash. You can check out the video below.
