Their divorce was one of the biggest dramas in Mzansi, with accusations and counter-accusations flying all over the place. But it appears all the drama between Mohale Motaung and his wife Somiz Mohlongo is about to come to an end – for good.
The Idols SA judge has just withdrawn his case against his former actor lover. The two had taken each other to court in what has been described as a messy divorce battle. At the time, each had his supporters and critics.
Somizi’s supporters were especially harsh on Mohale, as they dismissed him as a gold digger who was out to snag most of Somizi’s assets. They railed at him so much at the time that his sister had to intervene and shove them away in a post on social media.
With Somizi withdrawing his case, it appears the two are closer to a settlement. In the interim, of course, Somizi would have to pay Mohale’s legal fees. That was what the court ruled. The basis for the ruling was that Mohale wanted mediation and settlement out of court but Somizi insisted on a court process. You can check out the withdrawal notice below.
