Somizi has had trouble with the law in the past, and although it is something he would rather not remember and would prefer others don’t remember, it continues to pop up online sporadically. Now that reality threatens to torpedo his clothing line for kids.
Called Sompire Kids, this clothing line for children is something the reality show judge has been working on for a while and he is about to show the world what he has been up to behind the scenes.
On the eve of the clothing line launch, he had promoted it on his associate Anele Mdoda’s show. The media personality herself had posted about the clothing line and informed her audience about what to expect and the man behind it.
Ordinarily, this should have elected excitement from the public given how popular and influential Somizi is. However, some social media users are already drowning him with criticisms and denunciations, recalling his brush with the law in the past and his conviction.
Some said he is a sexual offender and therefore has no business with a kiddies line. At the time of writing, Somizi had not addressed the criticisms. It is doubtful criticisms would stop him from launching anyway.
