What’s an AKA relationship without drama? During the holidays, Mzansi was hit with news of a heated argument between lovers, Nadia Nakai and AKA while they were at a strip club in Ghana.
According to recent reports, a source close to them (who has chosen to remain anonymous) claims he assaulted her in front of everyone during the Easter weekend. The source claims this happened before he unfollowed and followed her again on Instagram.
A report by Daily Sun quotes the anonymous source saying, “He allegedly assaulted her at the venue in full view of people.” ‘They’ also claim that he assaulted her again at the hotel before their heated argument. The source said;
“When he arrived at the hotel, he went into a room where she was chilling with other people and allegedly attacked the promoter who had booked them. He allegedly punched him several times and then went back to Nadia. He had to be restrained, and once calm, he broke down and cried.”
More reports reveal that the “Naked” star denied being assaulted. She claims they only “got into an argument and that is all”. Also, in a joint statement, the couple said, “What we took to be light interactions with industry peers have been twisted by outsiders. There was no physical or verbal altercation. We are fine and there’s no drama between us.”
