In South Africa, March was a pretty interesting month, and several figures captured the attention of the Rainbow Nation, leading to increased searches about them on Google. Three figures stood out among the most searched on Google in South Africa in March: Costa Titch, Thabo Bester, and Nhlanhla Lux.

  • Costa Titch: The South African rapper, singer and dancer died while performing on stage in Johannesburg. He collapsed during a performance, ending an illustrious career that had seen the release of several winning tunes, including “Big Flexa.”
  • Thabo Bester: He is also called the “Facebook Rapist,” having allegedly lured women from that social media platform, and raped and killed them. He was jailed for his crimes but reportedly faked his death in a prison fire at a facility owned by G4S. He escaped and was living his best life with his girlfriend, a “Dr.” Both of them were sighted at SPAR in Sandton and fled when the news got out.
  • Nhlanhla Lux: Known as the Operation Dudula leader, his crib was allegedly touched by unknown arsonists.
