The rapper’s role in Uzalo is not the first time people are seeing his performance in acting. This new role is the third time he is showing his acting skill. He had starred in the popular TV shows, Isibaya and Isithembiso.

When Big Zulu fell in love with hip hop and rap music in 1999, he started performing, writing and create his music genre in 2009. He called it ‘Inkani Rap.’
He has worked with notable rappers such as Sjava, Kwesta, and Emtee. He has also collaborated with international artists such as Damien Marley and Mazz from the United State of America. Big Zulu stated that while growing up, he was inspired by artists such as Phuzekhemisi and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
Big Zulu played the role of a character, Jacob Ntshangase, and the way he brought the character to life has made people astounded. His fans have made positive remarks about his performance and praised for doing a great job.
