It is that time of the year again when we get the “Wrapped” – a compilation of artists and the numbers their music did on Spotify. Most people usually look forward to this because it gives vital insights about their music, from those listening to the time spent listening, and where they are listening from.
Nasty C is one of the rappers who made a significant impact on the rap scene this year, and it was reflected in his grabbing a respectable spot on “Spotify Wrapped.” The songster was placed in the 6th position as the most streamed South African artist.
In the South African hip-hop category, he held the first position alongside AKA as the most streamed South African musician. AKA making that sport is of course understandable. His murder this year, in what had been ruled an assassination, provoked great interest in his music.
Anyway, Nasty C is grateful to have made it to the top spot, and he shared his gratitude in a tweet on his official X account. As far as he is concerned, he couldn’t have achieved what he did without the support of his fans. You can check out the tweet below.
By the way, he is gearing up to release a joint album with Cassper Nyovest.
