Squid Game season 2 isn’t here yet. But there is a lot of speculation regarding the sequel to the immensely popular Korean series, with actor Wi Ha-joon teasing fans on whether he might meet with the director or not.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who had previously revealed that the drama will continue after the finale, is gearing up to create a follow-up. This has provoked a wave of curiosity among fans, some of whom had asked which of the characters would make it to the second season.
Of course, in drama, suspense is key. And being able to keep viewers guessing is vital to preserving their interest and even preserving ratings. Wi Ha-joon knows this and hasn’t revealed much about what fans and the general public should anticipate.
However, the actor isn’t sure whether he would make it to the second season. He debuted in the first season and, by his own admission, that appearance had blessed him much more than he thought possible, with appearances in GQ, among others.
In an interview, he noted that it would be nice to be a part of the second season. If he will make it eventually is a different ball game.
