Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala Still Recovering From Last Month’s Shooting

Former Bafana Bafana coach and Orlando Pirates senior official Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala is reportedly still recovering after getting shot last month.

According to reports, in late March, Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala got shot and the police are not sure if it was a burglary or an attempt on his life. The former Bafana Bafana coach and Orlando Pirates senior official is said to be out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where he spent over a month.

He was reportedly shot after intruders invaded his home in Centurion, Tshwane home on March 20. A source close to the family told Zimoja that he came out of the ICU early this week and is currently able to breathe properly and talk.

“He is still in pain, but the family is grateful for the progress.” They further revealed that the family was worried about his recovery, but has not lost hope. “His family has been on his side ever since the incident,” said the source.

They also do not want to share much info on his recovery because the police is yet to decipher if it was a burglary or an assassination attempt.

“Remember no arrests have been made yet and the incident happened more than a month ago, so the family is trying to protect him until they know what the motive behind the shooting was.”
