It has been raining condolences and memorialization since the news of his death broke, with fans and associates alike speaking of his impact on the scene and what his deaths mean to the game.

According to multiple sources, Stephan Bonnar died from heart complications while at work. He leaves behind a wife named Andrea Brown and their son, Brandon.

Stephan Bonnar’s death was announced on the UFC website, where president Dana White described him as one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the Octagon, She singled out his fight with Forrest Griffin as something that changed the sport forever.

She also noted that Bonnar gave his best to the sport, had a wonderful relationship with the fans, and will be missed for his contributions to the game.
