Stogie T Praises Nasty C’s Creativity, Consistency

Clearly it wasn’t arrogance that made him adopt “Zulu Man With Some Power” as title of his album. Nasty C has long recognized his musical gifts and has no qualms letting everyone know he has it.

That gift has been praised almost everywhere across Mzansi and abroad, too. The most recent praise pellet is coming from Stogie T, unarguably one of the finest lyricists in South Africa and a revered voice in the country’s music.

Apparently Stogie T listened to Nasty C’s recent single “EAZY,” a song he released following his signing to Def Jam Africa. The song apparently has a magical effect on Stogie T, and he said so out loud, hiding nothing.

Taking to Twitter on 15 June 2020, the “Empire of Sheep” crooner said he is struck by Nasty C’s creativity and consistency. There are no gimmicks, and nothing goofy, either. All Stogie T sees is luminous talent.

Interesting, at the time of release, some twitter denizens had criticized “EAZY” because, according to them, in that song, Nasty C was crooning like an Atlanta rap nut.

Well, what do you think of Stogie T’s thoughts on Nasty C’s “EAZY”? you are welcome to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
