It’s a new year and we have a new season of celebrated lyricist Stogie T’s popular Freestyle Friday.
The platform sees artistes from across the world spitting their bars – dropping freestyles – and Stogie T curating them on his Instagram page and elsewhere.
Last year was particularly big for the platform in that several artistes made it to the platform, from Mozambique to Nigeria to South Africa. With the recent announcement of a second season, one might as well expect bigger leaps.
Stogie T announced the coming of the second season of Freestyle Friday on his Instagram page a couple of hours ago today 5 February 2021. The responses to his post indicate fans can’t wait for the second season to commence. Well, we can’t wait, either.

The new season will apparently be in partnership with Channel O. So many get to watch it and, ultimately, Stogie T gets to achieve his goal of seeing South Africa rapping again. We’ll be sharing news of the Freestyle Fridays, so do well to follow us on social media.
