Somebody find me this boy, Nigerian singer Davido had declaimed when he saw the impressive WAEC results of a Ghanaian student who couldn’t continue his education after taking the exams a year ago (2021).
Suleyman Morro scored had scored A1 parallel in his West African Examination Council certificate. When the “Blow My Mind” singer saw the results, he was moved and shared a screenshot from the website where he read the news, asking his fans to help him locate the kid.
Well, after a keen search, the DMW boss had found his man and rewarded him with a scholarship for five years.
In a follow-up post, Davido announced that he’d given the boy a scholarship to study at the family-owned Adeleke University for five years. The scholarship covers everything the kid needs, from tuition to accommodation to allowance. He ended up thanking those who helped him locate the kid.
Davido, born to a wealthy family but has also made a fortune himself, goes by the mantra, we rise by lifting others. Suleyman is one of many people the songster had helped out of poverty. And from the look of things, he isn’t stopping anytime soon.
