One thing about sports fans is that they are ready to go to great lengths to show their love for their teams, home and abroad. The reality is only too glaring, from South Africa down to the United States – you name it.
Well, South African sports fan Mama Joy is the woman of the moment, having just made an ambitious move to support the South African rugby team, long famous as Springboks: She painted her home in the colour of the team. She showed off the transformation herself in a pot on social media.
But then, those who are familiar with her wouldn’t be surprised at all. Not only is she a big fan of the team, but she made it a point to fly down to France to watch the team beat New Zealand in the Rugby World Cup and return home with the trophy for the second time.
And as is her transition, she shared snaps of herself in Paris for the game. Now, she shows another side of her love for Springboks by repainting her house in what she calls “joyful” Springboks colours – obviously a play on her name.
