Taylor Swift Donates Over R1.9 million Super Bowl Parade Shooting Victim’s Family

Popstar Taylor Swift reportedly donated over R1.9 million to the family of the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade shooting victim.

According to reports, a woman, Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan, died in a shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl Parade. The chaos also left 22 people injured, including several children. A GoFundMe page was reportedly set up to benefit the family of the shooting victim to raise $ 75,000.

According to Variety, a Swift’s aide confirmed to the publication that Taylor was the one who donated $100 thousand to the family of the victim via the GoFundMe page.

The Grammy record-breaker wrote on the page,

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love Taylor Swift.” She first donated $50,000 and a second $50,000, making it a hundred.

The shooting, which happened on Wednesday, was said to be the result of a dispute, according to the police. They also confirmed that two juveniles were among those detained. The Kansas City Chiefs were celebrating their third victory at the Superbowl with millions of fans when shots were fired.

Taylor had been at the games on Sunday to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The singer is reported to be back in Australia for The Eras Tour.
