Taylor Swift shares her response to the leaked 2016 phone call from Kanye West about his song “Famous”.
Popular American star, Taylor Swift and her fans have been basking in her recent “victory” over Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian. Remember back in 2016, the singer came under fire after Kim released a recording of a phone call between her and Kanye.
In the phone call, Swift “seemingly” agrees to being mentioned in the song’s lyrics, but she had previously announced she never approved being called a “b**ch”. Social media users however accused the singer of being a snake and flooded her comments section with snake emojis. After the full recording of the phone call was leaked over the weekend, Taylor’s fans and many felt she had finally been vindicated.
Responding to the leaked video, Taylor shared a message to her Instagram story. She wrote,
“Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)… SWIPE up to see what really matters.”
Swiping up, users will be directed to donate to various organisations due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
