Controversial media personality and actress Tebogo Thobejane has expressed gratitude for having survived what she described as a targeted hit on her person.
By her account, she and her friend were returning from the club when she was shot at. Luckily, the bullet missed her. But it hit her friend, who is currently recuperating in the hospital.
She insisted what happened on that day was not a robbery but an attempted hit on her person. But the bullet missed her, hitting he friend. While she is grateful to have survived the “hit,” it feels bad that her friend was injured.
The shooting took place months after she returned to South Africa from France, Even before then, she had complained about South Africa being unsafe and leaving the country for good. She eventually left.
Perhaps the lure of home was too strong, for she returned to South Africa again, only to experience the shooting – something she had feared all along. But she was lucky to survive it all.
At the time of writing, she was still in South Africa. It is unclear if she would make her way out of the country again following the incident. If that happens, we will inform y’all.
