Thando Thabethe Criticised For Mimicking Faf De Klerk With Her Blonde Wig

South African radio personality Thando Thabethe has been mocked by her compatriots for “trying to look white.” Controversy broke out after Thando Thabethe and fellow media personalities decided to dress up like their favourite Springboks player.

Springboks is the name for the South African rugby team, which played the world cup in France this year and emerged victorious.

Both Thando and her associates wore the jerseys ahead of South Africa’s clash with New Zealand for the final. It was a historic moment for the South African side when ther team emerged victorious. And many South Africans celebrated it, including President Cyril Ramaphosa.

But some South Africans weren’t nearly as interested in the win as they were about how Thando Thabethe dressed ahead of Springbok’s triumph. One X by the name Ori criticised her for trying to project a white image whereas the white would never try to do the same about black Africans, You can check out the post below.

Some South Africans agreed with the message Ori shared, and some couldn’t be bothered about it, choosing, instead, to focus on Springboks’s win. Last we checked, Thando Thabethe had not replied the critics. And it is doubtful she will say anything about Ori.
