The #SAPSChallenge originated from a moment that most South Africans would want to forget about. But it seems that the past still keeps coming back on Twitter!
Richard Maponya’s funeral was held last week. However, it will be remembered for the wrong reasons: Jessica Mbangeni, the praise poet, caused a stir in the attire she was wearing and there were rumours that she had attended despite being uninvited.
Also, during the ceremony, the SAPS officers had performed in a tragic way that left South Africans embarrassed. And the blame was on DJ Maphorisa!
The video went viral in no time and has been trending on social media. It brought about the #SAPSChallenge where a group of people line up and try to march in different directions.
