The EFF Shares Plans To Solidify Coalition With IFP In Kwazulu-Natal

The EFF has announced plans to solidify its coalition with IFP in KwaZulu-Natal despite ending working relations across eight municipalities.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have big plans for the 2024 elections. According to new reports by EWN, the party told Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) supporters and mourners attending Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi’s memorial service that the EFF and IFP would make history in KwaZulu-Natal at the 2024 general elections.

It is no secret that the parties had cut working ties in eight municipalities across KwaZulu-Natal. While addressing the event organized by the IFP in honour of the late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Member of Parliament (MP) and former spokesperson of the EFF, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi insisted that the parties would come together again to form a stronger bond.

EWN reported that the view echoed by Ndlozi had also been expressed by other EFF leaders. He also urged the IFP members to remain united while addressing tensions happening within the party. He said, “We call on the IFP to honour the peace of Shenge. President, you must unite your forces under this legacy.”

To honour the late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi’s legacy, the IFP, and his family vowed to continue their working relationship as it has always been.
