The Memorial And Funeral Service Details For Sibusiso Radebe Have Been Announced

The date and time have been released for Sibusiso Radebe's memorial and funeral service.

The award-winning South African dancer and vocalist, Sibusiso Radebe died at the age of 37. The former Backstage actor had been diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and was undergoing treatment before he gave up the ghost. His manager, Wesley Mark Gainer, had confirmed the death of Yo TV presenter, Sibusiso Radebe.

His memorial and funeral service details have been announced days after his death.

Sibusiso Radebe’s memorial will be held on the 16th of January at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre. It will take off at 7:00 pm. The funeral will also take place on the 18th of January at Rhema Ministries in Protea North. This will take place at 7:00 am.

Late 2019, the dancer and actor revealed that the reason he had decided to step away from limelight was because of his battle with cancer. In a long post, Sibusiso Radebe narrated how his body had reacted to chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and how he had chosen to live. He talked about the pains he experienced and the accomplishments he had made this far. He always talked about being an introvert and how he looked towards reaching forty years of age.

Tributes had poured in on social media, following the death of the skilled dancer and vocalist.

Sibusiso Radebe was famously known for his role as Vuzi in e.tv.’s soapie, ‘Backstage.’ He featured in the popular show for five years before getting involved in other local productions. May his soul rest in peace.
