The Minister Of Police, Bheki Cele, Alleges That AKA Was Murdered By Close Associates

The prolific rapper AKA’s suspected death at the hands of a close friend or family member has just been confirmed by the Minister of Police Bheki Cele. When the minister was doing a radio interview on Metro FM, he made the shocking claim that gave credence to people’s fears.

It’s no longer fresh news that outside a Durban restaurant on February 10, assailants rolled up on the rapper, firing shot that killed both him and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, on the spot. Sadly, so far, no official arrests have been made in connection with the murder.

Now, new details regarding a police probe into the death of AKA, true name Kiernan Forbes, have been disclosed by Bheki Cele in an interview with Faith Mangope of Metro FM.

Cele informed reporters that police were still compiling evidence from the two eyewitnesses who are still under police protection.

According to reports, on the day he AKA kicked the bucket, he had gone out to dinner and enjoyed some wine with some close friends, which lends to the Police Minister’s new information. Also, the rapper encountered famous chef Tibz Motsoane, who was tragically caught in the crossfire of the assailants.

While the rapper’s fans on X have already started to draw up speculations about what the minister said, some others just want the minister and SAPS to simply do their job by apprehending the culprits sooner rather than later.
