The One Who Sings Charms Mzansi With Cover of Zahara’s “Loliwe” – Watch

South African singer Zahara might be dead, but her memory is still very fresh and will likely stay that way for a long time to come. Anyway, a rendition of her single “Loliwe” by The One Who Sings caught the attention of many South Africans and even drove some of them to tears.

“Loliwe” is one of Zahara’s most popular songs – a hit. Not surprisingly, it was also the song that The One Who Sings (yes, that’s the name of a female musician) decided to render.

In a clip posted on her official Instagram page, The One Who Sings, whose birth name is Zolani Mahola, could be seen with a guitar as she did a cover of Zahara’s “Loliwe” tune. Her cover resonated with many South Africans who not only praised it but pointed out that were Zahara alive she would have been impressed with it as well. You can check out the clip below.

Zahara died on December 11 after spending days at the hospital where she was reportedly being treated for liver failure. Her death came as a big shock to her fans and South Africans generally. They have all been mourning her ever since, dropping tributes and more.
