Mzansi actor Thapelo Sebogodi, known for starring in “The River,” has joined the cast of “House of Zwide.”
e.tv’s fashion drama, “House of Zwide,” reportedly has a new cast member, and it is “The River” star Thapelo Sebogodi. The announcement was made by Entertainment blogger Jabu McDonald, who posted a clip revealing that Sebogodi was the latest member of the hit show.
The clip shows the actor having a business meeting with actor Wanda Zuma, who plays the role of Nkosi Zwide. As a new member of the cast, Sebogodi becomes the second actor from “The River” to join the popular fashion drama. Actress Tsholo Mashaba, who plays Mampho (Gaisang Noge)’s mother, was the first to join.
“The River” was canceled by 1Magic earlier this year after six seasons. There are no reports about what character Thapelo will play or how long he will be on the show.
The famous actor is best known for portraying Khabzela on “The River.” He is also known for being the eldest son of the veteran actor Seputla Sebogodi, the star of the sitcom, “Surbabun Bliss.” Fans are excited to see Thapelo on the hit fashion show because of his reputation as a talented actor.
