‘The River:’ Viewers Are Angry That Morena Married Angie

Fans and viewers of “The River” are angry and blame Thuso for making Morena marry Angie in the show’s latest episode.

Have you ever been so into a show that it affects your feelings and messes you up? Well, we all have. Fans and viewers of the hit show “The River” are not in a good mood after the latest episode aired.

You may wonder why. Apparently, Morena Mokoena (Thabiso Ramotshela) married Angelina (Nokuthula Ledwaba) on the show the viewers were pissed off by it. They have taken to Twitter to label Morena’s father, Thuso Mokoena (Presley Chweneyagae), a villain for having his son marry her.

Zalebs reports that the series is currently in its sixth and final season, and nepotism might be to blame. The wedding has been dubbed “the wedding of the century.” We hear the two married each other against their wills. Not even Mokoena’s mother, Bontle (Tumi Masemola), could stop it.
