This year, however, a different user shared the drawing and it went viral almost immediately, encouraging the Canadian to adopt it for his profile picture on the picture-sharing platform.
The Weeknd changed his profile picture to the fan drawing of him without comment. The move pleased many online users, who commended him for encouraging an artist’s creativity.
