The obsession with “Jerusalema” continues for the adults and even for the babies. This much should be obvious from the recent clip one of the singers behind the song, Nomcebo, shared on her Instagram page.
In the clip, a kid could be seen on the sofa playing with his toy car. Then the Jerusalema song came on. He ditched the sofa instantly, waltzing on the floor while someone watches. The video has been viewed over 12k times since it was shared.
Master KG and Nomcebo released “Jerusalema” video months back, which has been viewed over 100 million times on YouTube, making it probably the most viewed videos by a South African to date.
The “Jerusalema” song has since been endorsed by celebrities like Christiano Ronaldo of portugal and the American singer Janet Jackson. The president of South Africa is not left out…
President Cyril Ramaphosa, in his broadcast to the nation last week, even encouraged a “Jerusalema” challenge on Heritage Day, a day of cultural remembrance in the rainbow Nation.
